Panhellenic New Member of the Year Award: Abby Ellett ’24, a sociology and anthropology major from Spartanburg, serves on the executive council of Kappa Delta as vice president of events and programming. A Bonner Scholar, he also works with the Boy Scouts, Cleveland Academy of Leadership and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Upstate. He planned the chapter’s charity basketball tournament benefiting the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind and a canned food drive for the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen. He has worked to reestablish the chapter’s alumni advisory board. IFC New Member of the Year Award: Ellis Greene ’24, a history and government major from Gaffney, South Carolina, serves as the vice president of alumni relations and philanthropy for Pi Kappa Alpha. She is a captain for the women’s basketball team, and she is recognized for her scholarship while being well-rounded and embodying the core values of her chapter and the Panhellenic community. ![]() Panhellenic Outstanding Greek Scholar Award: Lily Hatton ’23, a biology major from Georgetown, Indiana, has maintained a 4.0 GPA while participating as an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta. His ability to excel inside and outside of the classroom while serving as “a voice of reason for all brothers” earned him the notable award of IFC Outstanding Greek Scholar. He serves as a resident assistant, a supervisor for intramural sports, and he recently returned from a semester abroad in Seville, Spain. IFC Outstanding Greek Scholar Award: Baird Thoni ’23, a biology and Spanish double major from Chattanooga, Tennessee, is considered a well-rounded and active member of Kappa Sigma. Panhellenic Chapter of the Year Award: Delta Delta Delta. IFC Chapter of the Year Award: Pi Kappa Alpha. Panhellenic Outstanding Educational Program Award: Kappa Alpha Theta. IFC Outstanding Educational Program Award: Sigma Nu. Panhellenic Outstanding Philanthropy and Service to the Community Award: Zeta Tau Alpha. IFC Outstanding Philanthropy and Service to the Community Award: Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Panhellenic Scholarship Award: Kappa Alpha Theta. Interfraternity Council (IFC) Scholarship Award: Kappa Sigma. The project creates themed boxes of decorations for kids admitted to the hospital. Additionally, organizations raised $27,051 for the Grateful Hearts Project, started by Cate Whitlatch ’24, a psychology major from Greensboro, North Carolina. Wofford College’s fraternities and sororities held their annual Greek Week the week of April 25 and concluded it with the annual Greek Awards that recognized both organizations and individual achievements of members.
